The second guard swung his side-handled baton toward Ran’s head. The Special deflected this with his left baton, but the guard on the ground grabbed Randal’s leg, pulling to take him down.

Ran swung his right baton at the man, but the leg grab had been a feint. He caught the baton with both hands and held onto it with a sneer. Without hesitation, Ran swiftly swung his other baton right into the man’s face, breaking his jaw and knocking out a few teeth. The guard fell over, unconscious.

But this left Ran open to attack from the other guard.
