“Did my barriers scramble it?” Ling said.

“No, I’m still seeing your walls,” Vapor said, pulling her goggles back on. “But I’m not seeing Sprite anywhere.”

“Check adjacent sectors. She may have hopped from her previous zone.”

“Adjacent sectors are void of her signal. I’m telling you, I was tracking her and then she vanished. Can we raise the shade on her beacon?”

“That would be her end,” Darkholm said.
