Any escapees from Giresun’s prison would freeze before reaching civilization again without help. With help, the prison had an electromagnetic pulse generator, rendering any electrical device outside of the prison and in a twenty mile radius, useless. There were around 100 guards at any given time, and many were non-human. Vampires, orcs, and werecreatures were just some of the known entities under Giresun’s command at the Ultramax Rocky Penitentiary.

And the weapons defense was unheard of. There were small city-states that didn’t come close to this type of firepower. Naturally the guards were well armed, but well trained as well.
