Gunn checked one barrel of the rhino stopper for obstructions.
“I need you to handle crowd dispersion, Gunn,” Turtle said, “not slaughter every man, woman, and child in a two mile vicinity.”
“That’s not even fair!” Gunn said, looking up from the stopper.
“The point is, I think you’re better on two feet.”
Gunn eyed him darkly, lips parting, teeth exposed, possibly growling quietly.
“See what I mean,” T said, and Gunn broke his stare, realizing what he was doing. “Be prepared for any contingency, but you know my thoughts on the subject.”
“Understood,” Gunn said, returning to his firearm.
