A week later, plans were in order and actions were in motion. Clara bid her fellow darts farewell and left early morning in her rotocoptor to travel half way across the continent. She brought with her a supply of equipment a small army could be jealous of and enough paper creds to choke a hippo.
And the remaining darts prepared for their own bout of action.
“Please, Turtle, don’t make me stay home,” Hawk said, a young man in his early teens, every feature of his lanky, tan body pleading.
“We need someone to stay here and watch the base.”
