“We made it,” Clara said, the hang glider slowly descending as the elevation continued to drop around them, she and Ran making little more than a dark mark on the sky still wearing their black body stockings, attached to a black hang glider. There wasn’t even more than a sliver of a moon.
She smiled.
“We made it,” she repeated, but Randal did not respond. He had passed out. The two soared over the forest and Clara turned her glider, using her compass to determine the direction to follow.
