On lockdown, if Sprite’s equipment were left for a week untouched or if disturbed improperly, the machines would self destruct. Sprite was pretty sure the tactical team hunting her down had served to destroy the equipment and perhaps even a few of themselves in the process.

Gunn and Reynolds were picked up by Sparrow after making their way out of the building through the service tunnels and meeting her several blocks away. Again, nothing fancy, nothing assuming, just a vehicle that was reliable and could easily disappear in a crowd.
