Hawk and Kurl protested, pleaded, argued, and begged; but Helen insisted that the two could not be anywhere near their prisoner. Turtle agreed completely. Helen kept the two upstairs away from this dirty scene, both parents knowing what had to be done; but both unwilling to open the younguns to this darkness just yet.

It was not a pretty scene that followed but objectives were pure. Claude Revel had employed these darts and then betrayed them, his actions leading to the attempted death or capture of two of their own, and who knows how many more later, if not stopped.
