The next morning, Clara brought Randal home. The Special still slept, his battered and beaten body still needing much rest. Both Helen and Sprite examined him, Clara insisting to remain at his side during this. They both agreed that rest was the best thing for him and thought that his body would soon heal itself, already seeing some amazing changes, if Clara’s testimony of Randal’s torture and condition when they made their escape was to be believed.

They would all keep an eye on him, though, and if any changes were seen, they would immediately bring an actual doctor in.
